Outdoor lighting at a care facility isn't just about aesthetics. It's about safety. When residents or visitors are navigating a walkway after dark, poor lighting isn't just inconvenient - it's a real hazard. That's exactly the kind of problem this install was designed to solve.

We installed a pedestal-style bollard light right along the entrance walkway of a retirement home. The placement was intentional. It sits right at the transition point where the concrete path meets the tactile warning surface - one of the more critical spots for anyone who needs a little extra visual guidance underfoot.

The fixture itself is a clean, durable unit with a stainless steel accent and a dome top. It's built to hold up through seasons without looking out of place in a well-kept landscape. That balance matters on a property like this, where the grounds are maintained and the overall appearance reflects on the facility.

The junction box is mounted low and flush at the base, keeping the wiring clean and protected. Small details like that make a real difference in the long run - both for safety and for how long the install holds up without needing attention.

This is the kind of small commercial electrical work we do regularly. It doesn't always make headlines, but it genuinely improves the day-to-day experience for the people using the space. A well-lit path at a retirement home means residents can move around more confidently, and staff and families feel better about the environment too.
